Our Core Values

The acronym ‘’CARIC” outlines our five core values which are:

  1. COMMITMENT: We embody and uphold our ideals, driving us towards building an inclusive society.
  2. ACCOUNTABILITY: We are accountable to our stakeholders, committed to being efficient, transparent, and honest in everything we do.
  3. RESPECT: We promote continual respect, following the golden rule: “treat others as you would want to be treated.”
  4. INCLUSION: We strive for the full and equitable participation of everyone, including people with disabilities, women, youths, and children.
  5. CO-OPERATION: We fully embrace co-operation, aiming to unite with stakeholders and create equal, meaningful partnerships based on inclusive development and democracy values.

The founding story

In the year 2022, William Tolbert was selected as an ‘accountapreneur’ fellow for the Accountability Lab Virtual Incubator fellowship.

Our purpose

The purpose of PSI Foundation is to promote Social Inclusion of the persons with disabilities, women and youths in development and democratic agenda of their communities through deliberative workshop(s).

Why deliberative workshop(s) on Social Inclusion

Our deliberative workshops actively engage communities and their leaders in conversations and dialogues to address development and democratic challenges or concerns.

Who We Serve

In Kenya, Persons with disabilities constitute 2.2% (0.9M) of Kenya’s population, with women making up 57% (523,883), of all persons with disabilities.
